This petit knife is a laminated (san mai) contruction with an excellent edge. The handle is reclaimed English chestnut with a lovely figure, and is secured with brass pins salvaged from old stair rods.
 
It weighs 85gms (3oz) and has a 12.5cm (5") cutting edge.
