This low status, Anglo-Saxon broken back seax has a 4" old wrought iron blade. 
 
The handle has a horn bolster and english pearwood handle. 
 
The sheath is handmade from wet formed, vegetable tanned leather. The modest decoration extends to both sides of the sheath.
 
The sheath also features a hand made bronze clip to strengthen the wing. Designed for a simple belt suspension, there is a leather thong.
