This fine bladed knife is light weight, with an offset angle and is ideal for preparing and de-boning chicken thighs, for example. Particularily suited to cooks and chefs with a larger hand.
The damascus steel was forge welded by me and hand forged to a 'random' pattern. The steels used are both high carbon steel and take a fine edge. For those interested, the steels are 15N20 and 1095
The blade length is 12 cm,with an overall length of 24cm. The width at the heel is 34mm.
The handle is constructed from buffalo horn for the bolster and walnut wood.
The veg tanned leather sheath is hand stitched in house.
